Rob Rutigliano stands as a pillar of expertise and leadership within Canadian Shade, bringing over 20 years of experience in contracting to his role as Senior Project Manager. His journey in the industry began long before his professional career took off, working alongside his father in the installation of doors and windows — an early exposure that ignited a lifelong passion for building and renovation.

Rob’s commitment to excellence led him to pursue higher education, where he distinguished himself by receiving honours in business. This academic foundation enhanced his natural aptitude for project management and operational efficiency, setting the stage for a career that would span industries and continents.

After university, Rob spearheaded our renovation branch, Handybros Contracting, successfully overseeing a myriad of commercial and residential renovations. His project portfolio includes high-profile clients such as the Toronto District School Board, Boston Pizza, Carmax, and many others — each project a demonstration of his ability to blend aesthetic vision with practical, results-driven execution.

Overseeing installation teams both locally and abroad for Canadian Shade, Rob applies his extensive contracting background, business acumen, and proactive problem-solving skills to every aspect of his work. His ability to foresee and mitigate challenges before they arise has been invaluable in maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
