Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been submitted for production. Production times can vary based on factory volume and the time of year and are typically between 4-16 weeks dependant on the product. For a more accurate shipping time on a specific product, you may E-mail us at info@canadianshade.ca for more information. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. If you are placing an order with a customer service representative, they can let you know the shipping.

Orders within Canada over $4,000 qualify for free shipping.

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders over $4,000 within 50 kilometers of Toronto. For orders under $4,000, we charge $95 for local delivery.

Deliveries are made from 9AM – 5PM on Monday to Friday. We will contact you via text message or via phone call with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. If you require a delivery time outside of this window, it can be arranged for an additional fee.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the United States only. Any shipping outside of Canada or the US would require you do arrange your own shipping. International shipping requires that all funds are paid in full up front via secure wire transfer. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Canadian Shade is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number or bill of lading you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@canadianshade.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

We do not allow shipping to PO boxes for any reason.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 10 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition. Given the custom nature of our products, we will only refund 50% of the retail cost of the item less shipping requires to return the product.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@canadianshade.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
